Here at Family Dental Care of Elmont, we pride ourselves in giving back to the community. Our dentists and team volunteer with local schools and community centers for the elderly, as well as participate in international missions in third-world countries such as Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Peru and the Philippines. The work we do on international missions has helped us provide free dental care to over 20,000 patients since 1997.
We work with the Batey Relief Alliance (BRA), the Organization of International Development (OID) and the Gaskov Clerge Foundation to affect the patients with the greatest need. Even when we are not traveling we work with Friends of Montfort, an organization to help the deaf and blind children of Haiti, to organize and participate in a walk-a-thon to raise money. Similarly, we attend Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer walks annually to support those effected in our community and worldwide.
